Sandra and I spent our young childhoods together at Bowl Away where the
current Walgreen's is now located on Versailles Road. Raised on the fine dining
experiences of our youth of French Fries and the best Cherry Cokes ever made!
We spent time watching our Mom's and my Grandmother bowl in the women’s
league. She and I both bowled on Saturdays in the youth league. Just as her
Mom she was a gifted bowler. I even remember Zack working there also a gifted
bowler and Brian was just toddler running around then.
She and I went through school and graduated together. As time always has it
way of flying by us, we would always run into each other from time to time.
I was always greeted with that kind smile and hug. I can tell you she always had
a kind and gentle soul. A smile that always made you feel welcome and it came
from her heart.
Of course as life has its way of coming full circle. Just about 7 years or so ago I
found that she was married to Gary. Gary and I work for AOC.How wonderful it
was to see two people of the same spirits had found each other.
Please know Gary, your family and to the Woodard family with be in my prayers.
May God’sGrace come in like a storm and rain upon you the love and peace
that can onlycome Him. Sandra will remain forever a part your lives and those
of us blessed enough to have her touch our lives.
