Bessie Mae Bramblett Aldridge, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 16, 2017.

Mrs. Aldridge was born December 27, 1933, to the late Leslie Lilas and Anna Katherine Hawkins Bramblett. She was a former employee of Genesco and retired from Fruit of the Loom. Bessie will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and a friend to all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Ross “Gene” Aldridge; her son, Darryl Wayne Aldridge and a brother, Harold Bramblett.

She leaves behind her daughter, Patricia Aldridge; grandson, Darryl Aldridge; granddaughter, Carla Self; great grandson Drayven Aldridge; and brother, Donnie Bramblett (Joan).

In keeping with her wishes, no services will be observed.
