Will was born in Frankfort on September 14, 1990, to David and Sharon Tharp Rawlings of Frankfort.
He was a security guard at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Will loved spending time outdoors, specifically enjoying fishing and playing baseball. His selflessness was continuously shown through his loving and giving personality. He never wavered to help anyone in need, including donating a part of his liver to his nephew, Eli, without hesitancy. He was an advocate for organ donation, proving that generosity gave him a larger purpose in life. Along with his huge heart and caring nature, he also had a uniquely great sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Kelli Rawlings and by his grandparents, Milton Joseph Tharp, Charles E. Rawlings and Ann Katherine Rawlings.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Matt (Stephanie Turner) Rawlings and Charlie (Rachel Moore) Rawlings; his grandmother, Inez Sanders Tharp; nieces and nephews, Grace Kelli Rawlings, Jacob Brennan Newberg, and Charles Elliot Rawlings; and by his girlfriend, Maggie Crepps. Will was also blessed with his baseball family and special fishing buddies, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Proudly serving as pallbearers will be Matt Rawlings, Charlie Rawlings, Michael Rawlings, Kent Rawlings, Hunter Fry, Matt Freire, and Andy Fisher. Honorary bearers will be the 2009 Western Hills Baseball Team and their families, his fishing buddies and his lifelong childhood friends.
