Obituary for Timothy Holt Parker

Frankfort - Timothy H. Parker woke up from this world and went home on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017. Tim was an incredible soul who lived life marching to the beat of his own drum. He will be remembered by others for his kind heart and generosity, but also for the many things that made him unique. Tim was an avid gardener whose patience and care would grow some of the best tomatoes around. He was a movie lover who was especially fond of old westerns, and he was a Kansas City Chiefs fan until the very end. He loved wrestling, watching jeopardy, and working outside, but his greatest joy in life came from helping and doing anything he could for his family. He will always be remembered for his huge heart and selfless attitude.

Tim is leaving behind a wonderful mother, Velma Cartwright, whom he loved with all his heart. Tim is also survived by his brothers Alan Parker, Joseph Parker, and William Parker; along with his sisters Marie Parker, Sherry, Debbie, and step-sister Helen-Marie. Finally, Tim is leaving behind two nephews, Robert Miller Jr., Joseph Austin Parker, and a niece that meant the entire world to him, Hailey Parker.

Services for Mr. Parker will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steven Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Monday. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Miller Jr., Joseph Parker, Rocky Phipps, Joe Jo Kenney, Neil Fox, and Doug Falls.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Timothy’s name to the charity of your choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
