Obituary for Robert B. Weller

Robert B. Weller
Frankfort – Robert B. Weller, age 66, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 13, 2017. Services for Mr. Weller will be held at Choateville Christian Church on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Napier officiating. The committal services following will be private. The visitation will be held at Choateville Christian Church from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Mr. Weller was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 12, 1950 to the late Elmer Bernard and Marian Boing Weller. He was united in marriage to his loving wife, Karen Sue Blamer Weller. Together, they traveled from “sea to shining sea and back and forth in time.” He was a respiratory therapist for over 40 years and a member of Choateville Christian Church. He loved his church family. He had a love for words and he expressed it through his talented passion of writing and reading. He loved nature, and was his happiest while at Birdhaven. Known as “Bob” to his family and “Rob” to his friends and church family, he was truly cherished by all.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Lynn Weller Johnson and Carol Ann Weller Gambrel.

Along with his wife, Karen, he is survived by his siblings, Gerard (Constance) Weller, Richard Weller, and Donald (Barbra) Weller; his brothers-in-law, Don Johnson and Dorman Gambrel; and by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and a great nephew. He was also blessed with his two canine companions, Augustus and Sherman and numerous cats.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robbie Jeffries, Will Blankenship, Josh Callis, Jeff Garrison, Brad Weller, Donnie Cook, Gerry Weller, Richard Weller and Donald Weller.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Choateville Christian Church (God’s Plentiful Pantry), P.O. Box 5530 Frankfort, KY 40602.

Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home
