Obituary for Treana Rose Morris (Wainscott)

Treana Rose  Morris (Wainscott)
Frankfort – Treana Rose Wainscott Morris, age 63, passed away at home on Saturday, February 11, 2017. Services will be held at First Apostolic Church on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be at First Apostolic Church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

Mrs. Morris was born in Frankfort, Kentucky on March 9, 1953 to the late Milton Anderson and Nancy Ellen Joslin Wainscott. She was united in marriage to Tommy Gene Morris, who preceded her in death. She retired from Franklin Regional Medical Center after her service as a dietary supervisor. She was a godly woman, who loved attending church and serving the Lord.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Clayton Morris; her siblings, Russell Wainscott, Milton Douglas Wainscott, and Brenda Cox; her grandsons, Joshua Morris and Andrew Morris.

She is survived by her daughter, Treana Richmond; her siblings, Anna “Chris” Johnson, Amy (Ben) Gibson; and Frankie Wainscott; her granddaughter, Angel Nicole Richmond; and by her special friends, Daniel and Brenda Wilson and their son Daniel.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Wilson, Timothy Sandford, David Sanford, Eddie Shyrock, Phillip Scott Harris and James Morris.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Apostolic Church Building Fund, 126 Skyview Drive, Frankfort, KY 40601.

Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
