Obituary for Ursel Butterbach (Boeckmann)

Ursel Boeckmann Butterbach, widow of Richard J. Butterbach, passed away peacefully at home Monday, September 19, 2016.

Services for Mrs. Butterbach will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Dr. Bert Patterson officiating. Following the service Mr. and Mrs. Butterbach will be laid to rest together at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the service.

Mrs. Butterbach was born February 11, 1943, in Wuppertal-Elberfeld, Germany to the late Paul William and Margaret Boeckmann. She was a former employee of the Kentucky Bar Association, former member of the Frankfort Lions Club and member of Friendship Christian Church.

She is survived by a niece, Jennie Lynne Boeckmann and nephew, Mark William Boeckmann, both of Lansing, Michigan. In addition to her husband, Richard, who passed away September 5, 2016, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Claus Willy Boeckmann.

Expressions of sympathy in remembrance of Mrs. Butterbach may be made to a favorite charity.
