Obituary for
Susan Colleen Wunderlich (Harding)
Frankfort – Wunderlich, Susan Colleen Harding, 62, widow of Robert Wunderlich, died at 9:40 p.m., August 27, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. Born October 14, 1953 in Mt. Olivet, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hester Rose Stewart and GT Harding. Susan graduated from Morehead State University. She began her career with Kentucky State Government in 1975 and retired from Legislative Research Commission as State Regulations Compiler in 2002. Before and after retirement, Susan was loved and respected by everyone that crossed her path. She was always available to help her many friends near and far and especially enjoyed time volunteering at the Franklin County Women’s Shelter.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Beth (Craig) Teifert and two grandsons – Jack and Tyler, New Jersey; sister, Donnarose (Doug) Isaacs, Lexington, KY; niece, Sararose Isaacs, Hawaii; stepfather, Doyle K. Stewart, Lexington, KY and family; stepmother, Nauva J Harding, Brooksville, KY and family; mother-in-law, Alice Wunderlich and brother-in-law, Tom (Angie) Wunderlich and family, Frankfort, KY; aunt Colleen Case, Florida; aunt and uncle, Buddy and Ann Harding, Flemingsburg, KY; many nieces/nephews and cousins, and her two very best friends, Donna (Frank) Kemper and Murray Wood.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016 with a celebration of life immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home in Frankfort, KY.
